To write something you need to have an idea or a topic to prepare your content on. Though you would have decided a topic to write about, ideally it is always good to undertake detailed research on it to understand whether it is relevant or is actually needed by your audience at that particular time span. In other words, your decided topic should add value to them like your discussion should either be connected to the ongoing scenario, should be precise to the topic, should have some valuable insights and most importantly it should be something which more people are looking for.

  1. Twitter’s Trending Tweets - Nowadays twitter is the voice for everyone and thus it is full of infinite opportunities for you to get a suitable topic to write on. You never know while reading some tweets an idea might strike you

  2. YouTube - Youtube is the second most used source of information for everyone after Google. Hence you can search any keyword in its search bar and can prepare your content in any topic discussed in top videos as the majority of the viewers have shown their interest in them. It also has a YouTube Trends option which can tell you the trending ideas to work on

  3. Pinterest - Pinterest publishes a report of Monthly Trending Topics which allow the advertisers insights of the trending topics hence you can check this report and pick any of the trending topic related to your genre

  4. Google Trends - Google Trends is a great tool to find what other people are searching for the Internet as it shows the trending searches and the most popular searches in a specific area as well. This information can be useful while deciding the topics of the next write - up

  5. Reddit - Popular section of Reddit gives you numerous topics on which some hot discussions are happening worldwide thus if you prepare your write - up on those topics, in that space and during that time then it will reach out to a vast audience and it will be a hit instantly

  8. Quora’s Most Popular Questions - The top stories feed of the Quora profile home page gives you an overview of some of the most popular Quora content in your interested space / Category. Also, you can check for the trending topics on the basis of upvotes, comments, shares by searching for specific keyword phrases

  9. Hubspot’s Blog Idea Generator - This tool provides you with some interesting ideas to write on. You just need to feed in 5 nouns or keywords in its search option and it will automatically give you 5 ideas to work on which will be related to the majority of the fed keywords.
